You will join our Construction team and be responsible for management of all technical aspects related to facility management of our company's real estate portfolio, comprising residential, commercial, and hospitality property in Cyprus. You are expected to relocate to Limassol, Cyprus, where the main real estate activities are concentrated.
You will:
- Develop and implement a total quality control system for projects including submittal, reporting, and inspection procedures.
- Implement procedures of issues identification, preventing, and solving.
- Carry out comprehensive quality control and technical supervision at all stages of construction, including daily site inspections.
- Work towards the improvement of the efficiency of the work of contractors.
- Prepare the necessary reports for company management.
- Manage QA/QC software.
- Develop, implement, and verify the quality assurance and quality control system, including the development of internal standards and tolerances.
- Establish a system to minimize the cost of penalties.
- Be responsible for management of complex quality control and technical supervision.
- Ensure that Construction workers followed the latest drawings.
- Develop monthly reporting forms and quality control checklists.
- Conduct monthly assessment of the work schedule for each project and assessment of the main risks.
- Prepare bi-weekly photos progress reports with mainly quality issues on sites, bi-weekly update of the inspections register of projects, and an observations report.
- Administer checklists’ completion via quality software according to the inspection register of projects and inspection stages.
- Prepare a schedule of inspections of projects in accordance with the schedule of manufacture of works.
- Monitor and administer the final contractor “punch list” procedures as required, including final handover and project acceptance procedures.
What we expect from you:
- At least 5 years in construction and relevant QA or QC experience
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Excellent knowledge of construction norms and rules
- Experience of technical supervision and control over observance of specifications
- Superb Microsoft Office skills
- AutoCAD knowledge
- Familiarity with construction software such as PlanRadar, ProCore, PlanGrid, Fieldwire, Viewpoint, or others
