MU University is a unique educational institution, created in 2020 and is a recognized standard of educational quality in the world. Millat Umidi University gives its students the opportunity to gain specialized knowledge and ample opportunities for further education and choosing their own path in life. During this time, four key faculties were formed at the university: 1) International business, 2) Information technology, 3) Applied accounting and finance 4) English language teaching.

Due to an increase in the volume of work, we are looking for a competent Marketing Manager who will be responsible for the marketing directions of the University. This primarily involves developing and implementing strategies to strengthen the University's presence in the market and help it find the "voice" that will make a difference.

In our team you will:

  • Work directly with the Director of Admissions and Rector of the University
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness of the University.
  • Create and oversee branding, advertising and promotional campaigns.
  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
  • Responsible for creating valuable content for the company's online presence, editorial design and organization of company publications.
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
  • Create/collect and build reports about the completion of the tasks of the Department and report back to Director on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis.
  • Create, maintain and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics.
  • Active assisting and participation in building recruitment strategy and attending recruitment events in regions.
  • Assists and advises members of the University community regarding public relations issues and assists administrative officers in planning and formulating policies, strategies and responses relative to institutional issues and crisis management.
  • Provide public relations information to the University community and its constituencies, plans and directs the development and communication of information designed to keep the public informed of the University's programs, accomplishments or points of view.
  • Supervise the production, delivery, distribution and payment of University publications such as University catalogs, printed program brochures, news and other media reports.
  • Write, edit and review public relations materials including news releases, articles, speeches and online information services; develop marketing and public relations materials for designated University client departments.
  • Design, write scripts and oversee production of audio/video and/or printed promotional and public affairs materials; may supervise production budgets.
  • Plan, develop and/or coordinate the production of University publications.
  • Assist in the coordination and guidance of the work of other marketing staff, as appropriate.
  • Participate as appropriate in the planning, development and/or implementation of web-based and other emerging communication technologies, methods, resources, concepts and standards, within overall goals and parameters set by senior management.
  • Coordinate and facilitate on-site publicity activities and related services, which may include photographic services.
  • Assist with major University events, such as commencement.
  • Become the university's agent to external parties such as the media, stakeholders and potential clients and build strategic partnerships.
  • Provide back-up social media support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Rector.

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical, creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Keep up to date with modern methods and best practices in online marketing.
  • In-depth knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends, etc.) and Google Adwords.
  • Client-oriented with a professional approach
  • Professional Chartered Marketing (CIM) will be a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles
  • Experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies
  • Ability to coordinate and manage advertising campaigns
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, Master’s degree is preferred
  • Experience in the education industry is a plus
  • Exceptional command of the English Language (IELTS 7+)
  • Fluency in the Uzbek and Russian language (written and communications skills)
  • International education experience
