Job Title: Marketing Manager of EEC
Department: BCB
Section/Unit: EEC, Executive Education Center
Position reports to: Director of EEC

Job Purpose Summary (ideally one sentence):
Marketing, promotion, advertising and recruitment of students to Executive MBA program and other EEC
programs from Kazakhstan and other Central Asian republics, providing necessary information on the
programs to corporate clients.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Marketing and selling:
• EMBA program and other EEC offerings’ promotion and development (in English, Russian
and Kazakh) in Almaty, in KZ regions and in CA countries
• Work with corporate clients and private companies to recruit students to EMBA and other
EEC programs. Organize the meetings with regional authorities, local municipalities and
organizations to present EMBA and other programs for recruiting students to EMBA program
and to other EEC offerings. Participate in Tenders
• Organization of Open Days and other events to promote EMBA and other EEC projects to
recruit new students. Coordinate events, promo-activities, Open house days, Graduation
Ceremonies in EEC in Almaty and in the regions;
• Prepare/edit EEC newsletters & announcements, PR articles, press-releases;
• Brief and coordinate videographers and photographers on photo and video production for
EEC;
• Brief designers on printed/digital posters’ design before and after events; update EEC posters;
• Update and brief designers on printed/digital EEC brochures’ design annually;
• Manage, administrate EEC official accounts;
• Conduct stories and live streams from events;
• Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy;
• Work with EEC managers on promotion of EEC programs and project events;
• Supervision of all EEC web-pages, on its relevance, up-to-date information in 3 languages,
attractiveness user-friendliness for users. Promotion of EEC pages among KIMEP online-
community in close cooperation with MCPR, Webmaster and R&A assigned staff members;

 Content Creation from idea to its realization to promote Executive Education Center in
digital, website, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok:
o Idea generation to create a promotion and engagement with current and potential
students of ЕЕС;
o Constant communication with ЕЕС programs to ensure a promotional support by request;
o Manage the official ЕЕС accounts in social media by following content plan. Answer on
requests of users in ЕЕС accounts.
o Organization of photo and video production process. Scriptwriting, searching for
speakers and location, coordination of production process and editing process;
o Creatives preparation for digital promotion, and timely delivery of materials to the
MCPR to launch a digital promotion;
o Controlling MCPR's report by digital campaigns;
o Follow the trends in social media and know how to create REELS.
Administration:
• Preparation and implementation of the annual EEC Marketing Plan, writing the Market
Survey, EEC Marketing Reports
• Coordinate the documentation flow (marketing and sales budget of EEC, contracts &
accounting documents related to marketing activities in EEC), prepare paper work and
information required for the effective cooperation between EEC and the MCPR Department
and other external and internal bodies
• Administrative and logistic support of EMBA program and other EEC programs
• Update of information on EMBA program: monthly modules’ schedule, modules’ outlines,
new modules planning
• Develop EEC newsletters to keep customers informed
Client database maintenance:
• Update clients’ contact addresses
• Maintain and monitor existing and newly attracted corporate client list to make it available to
the requested ЕЕС bodies
• Organize meetings with the corporate clients for EEC administration to promote and sell
EMBA and other EEC offering
Development relationship with International organizations and educational institutions:
• Cooperation with International organizations, educational institutions, Universities and business-
schools for promotion of EMBA program.
• Organization of modules abroad on EMBA program.
• Development of new programs.
Training logistics/administration:
• Technical/logistics support for EMBA program implementation
 Perform other duties as might be directed by the supervisor.

Key deliverables:
Recruitment of at least 20+ students to EMBA program annually (every academic year)
Marketing and promotion of EMBA and other programs
Renewal and development of advertising materials for EMBA and other programs
Arrangement of marketing and promotional events for students’ recruitment

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, PR, Communications, Marketing;
• Excellent communication skills (oral /written); exceptional writing, editing, proofreading skills,
ability to present concepts verbally;
• Experience in sales and marketing;
• Minimum five years relevant to the position experience;
• High level of competence with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word;
• Understanding of public relations, social and digital media;
• Being enthusiastic, energetic and having good social and analytical skills;
• Being career oriented;
• Strong interpersonal skills as well as organization, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills are
required;
• Strong personal values including team player, loyalty, integrity, honesty, and leadership for building
a strong team in the Centre;
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently;
• Fluent in English, Russian and/or Kazakh.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Business Administration or in Marketing;
• Work experience in marketing educational products, new product development, sales and marketing
in business;
• Good knowledge of academia;
• Good relationships with local media outlets;
• Fluent written and spoken Kazakh is an advantage.
