Country Manager (Vietnam)

GARNET is a worldwide financial group of companies whose main activity is investing in debt portfolios and developing own FinTech solutions.

Our business model allows us to buy assets and gain profit from purchased loans without having internal collection processes.

Due to the active growth and opening of new markets, we are looking for a person to take a Key Role in International Business Expansion – a skilled Country Manager from the fintech or debt collection industry with written and verbal fluency in English and the ability to prove the market has potential.

Responsibilities:

• Researching the country or region thoroughly and adapting strategies accordingly.

• Educating the company about the country’s needs so it can successfully establish itself and briefing the teams working on the company’s expansion plan about the needs, priorities, KPI’s and reasons behind the applied strategy.

• Finding new clients and partners, conducting presentations and negotiations leading to closing deals (with lenders, debt collection agents, etc.).

• Preparing contracts and providing legal documentation.

• Ensuring regional compliance with relevant laws, policies, and practices and ensuring best practices, including good financial management and regular financial audits as required.

• Recruiting and managing a brand-new team, including those working remotely, and ensuring performance is managed and talent is nurtured.

• Developing new relationships and maintaining current partnerships in the market to let the business grow and advance.

• Interacting with other departments and colleagues inside the whole group of companies.

• Managing financial resources including setting, managing, and monitoring plans and budgets as well as leading new projects to profitability.

• Reporting to the head of the company.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or another relevant field.

• Experience in business management and development, project management, and previous experience within the industry is a must (Fintech or debt collection agency).

• Proven ability to work under pressure including the ability to cope with deadlines, multiple tasks, and competing demands.

• Written and verbal fluency in English is a must.

• Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies.

• Focused and goal-oriented.

• Proven experience of work in Vietnam is a must.

Fixed salary + bonuses.

Working conditions are discussed individually with a successful candidate and can be flexible.

The candidate should be located in Vietnam.
