Massoudi Consulting Engineers specializes in architectural design and structural engineering services in San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area Peninsula. The company helps clients with developing a vision for their structure, creating blueprints, and giving them the benefit of the company’s structural engineering and civil engineering expertise. Massoudi Consulting Engineers covers everything from master planning to building design.

The company’s relatively small but each team member is a great expert in Structural Engineering, Architecture, or Administration, and now they’re seeking a Junior Web Design, SEO & Social Media Specialist to help them develop and expand marketing assets.

What will you do?

• Implement ideas on design interface and website development in Squarespace.

• Work on improving the website’s SEO.

• Make advertisements via Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Yelp, etc.

• Write blog posts, and work with Google and Yelp business highlights.

• Generate posts on the company’s Google Business page, reply to users’ comments, update the information, etc.

• Analyze social media & SEO metrics to track results and improve further.

• Assist with other possible tasks and projects.

Requirements:

• Skills in web design – you love creating eye-catching products and have experience (no matter professional or personal) in it. The team won’t have time & resources to teach you, you’ll jump into web design from day one. So, you have skills in Figma, Wix, WordPress, or other website-building platforms (if you are familiar with Squarespace, would be a MAJOR advantage).

• Excellent written & spoken English skills – you’ll communicate with native English speakers and your tasks include writing texts in English, so an Advanced level of English is required.

• Strong knowledge of SEO – you can analyze and review websites and optimize them in a way that search engines will pick them up.

• Skills in copywriting – you not only know how to write selling texts but also can make them SEO-friendly.

• Skills in social media marketing and content creation – you already had experience (no matter professional or personal) creating content plans, actively posting visuals and texts, etc.

• Learnability, adaptability, and tech-savviness – the startup is rapidly growing, and the team would be happy to teach you the required software and tools, but you should be able to catch the information quickly.

• Proactivity – the team expects you to be proactive, and suggest ideas or improvements regarding the company’s digital presence.

• Self-reliance and the ability to make most of the day-to-day decisions on your own.

• Organizing skills – you know exactly how to organize your work and personal time and don't want any minute to go to waste.

Working hours:

You’ll need to adjust your schedule to have 4 overlapping hours with the team between 9 am and 5 pm PST, California Time (press here to check your time difference with the PST time zone).

• Part-time employment (4 hours per day, 5/2). Please note that we support your desire to combine this job with studies, however, we will not consider candidates planning to combine several jobs.
